The scope of ESChE 2023 special issue in Chemical Engineering Communications journal reflects on expanding role of chemical engineering in a variety of areas. Research areas include, but are not limited to: reactors and reaction engineering, catalysis, kinetics, separation processes, thermodynamics, process control, bioengineering, fluid mechanics, transport phenomena, crytallization, electrochemical processes, materials engineering, waste treatment, fluidization, polymer engineering, nanotechnology, semiconductor processing and applied mathematics.
